PENGUIN WATCHING
The meeting point is in the Port of Ushuaia (Onashaga expeditions office), where we will start the trip in a van to Puerto Almanza (a fishermen’s village located on the East side of the Beagle Channel, 70 km from Ushuaia). Along the way of road number 3, we will have the opportunity to enjoy views over the glaciers, mountains (Mounts Olivia & Cinco Hermanos), Carabajal Valley, Tierra Mayor Valley and the ski centers. Then, we will keep going along the J road, which was initially open to link Ushuaia to Estancia Harberton, enjoying the different colors of the subantarctic forest. The Lasifashaj river, peatlands, beaver dams, and the Cornú mountain complete this postcard of the fuegian landscape. Following our way, we will stop in Puerto Almanza, a fishermen´s village created in 1966. From there, we will take a zodiac with a seating capacity of 22 people, in which we will sail the Beagle Channel until we get to the Martillo Island, the place where we will be birdwatching and see the main kind of penguins: Gentoos (Pygoscelis papua) and Magellanic (Spheniscus magellanicus) as close as the boat can get. The time spent birdwatching is about 30 minutes (always according to the weather conditions).

Melhor empresa de tours de Ushuaia, atenciosos e muito explicativos.
Fizemos dois tours: pelo Canal Beagle e para ver os pinguins. A guia Sol foi maravilhosa no Canal Beagle. Tirou foto de todo mundo, respondeu a todas as perguntas. Já para ver os pinguins a guia Sofia mostrou tudo e deixou todo mundo à vontade. Não devemos nos esquecer da motorista Alexandra, que passou pelas ruas cheias de neve com toda naturalidade possível. Micaela que fica na cabana vendendo os tours é ótima também. Ela tem uma lábia boa, compramos os dois tours com ela. Ela disse estar sonhando com neve, mas eu vi nos olhos dela que não vai ter neve nesse inverno kkkkkkk

Hermosa excursión para avistaje de pingüinos
Hermosa excursión para avistaje de pingüinos, el capitán Héctor es un tipo espectacular, la guía , el conductor hacen que la experiencia sea perfecta. Muy linda navegación , estás cerca de los pingüinos y al finalizar te llevan a un hermoso sitio a tomar café caliente con alfajores. Sin dudas estás cerca una de las atracciones imperdibles que hay que hacer en Ushuaia y con ellos. Excelente

Excelente excursión.
El traslado a Puerto Almanza fue hermoso, se pudo ver todo el paisaje y el conductor fue excelente, igual que el estado del bus. Después en Almanza nos recibió Carly, Andres y Héctor grandes profesionales que saben muchísimo y que tuvieron la mejor predisposición para informarnos y sacarnos cada duda que surgía.
